Sunday services:
Morning Worship

is led by a nominated person, sometimes the invited speaker, other times a church member. It includes singing hymns and songs led by a group of musicians, prayer, Bible readings, various activities e.g. quizzes and competitions and the ubiquitous notices! Children attend the first part of the service and then go to their separate activities:
Sparklers [for ages 0 to 5]
Allstars and Trailblazers [for ages 5 to 12]
Lazers [for ages 13 to 16]
Our teachers and helpers have all been checked with the Criminal Record Bureau through the Churches Child Protection Advisory Service.
Communion:

the format of this service follows the guidelines set out in Paul's letter to the Corinthian church. Bread is broken and passed around the congregation. Wine is poured into two or three glasses, which are similarly passed around. We believe the bread and wine are symbols of Jesus Christ's body which was broken for us when He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice, acceptable to God, for our sins. This service is held in the morning service of the second and fourth Sundays of each month and in the evenings of all other Sundays. When it is held in the evening, it is included in a time of open worship led by the Holy Spirit, when any person can take a part.
Tuesday Focus is held on Tuesday afternoons and includes tea and coffee, biscuits and a time to socialise. Once a month we have lunch together [for a small charge]. Each week there is an invited speaker talking about a range of subjects.
Teddy Bear Club is held on Wednesday mornings and is for parents and babies/toddlers. There is a waiting list at the moment, but if you want more information, or want to have your name added to the list, please contact Liz Platt on 0208 841 9636. Our helpers include trained/registered child minders.
Razzmatazz is held on Wednesday evenings during Autumn and Spring school terms for children between the ages of 5 and 11. An evening of non-stop activities and fun, including quizzes, drama and stories based on the Bible. For more information and on-line activities, use this link to our Razzmatazz pages.
PowerHouse is held on alternate Thursday evenings. It is a time mainly devoted to prayer, which is the powerhouse of the church. Some weeks we concentrate on a particular subject. The weeks PowerHouse is not held, we meet as house groups in various homes at various times of the week [see below].
House Groups are held at various times of alternate weeks. They are often held in the homes of members and offer the opportunity for worship, prayer and Bible study in a more intimate atmosphere than the church building. One of the Elders will be pleased to introduce you to a group, if you do not already meet with one.
Golden Bees meet every second and fourth Thursday afternoons to enjoy doing their own thing, whether it be card making, knitting, stamp sorting - we have even made banners and attempted upholstery! Mainly though, our focus is fellowship one with another, over a sharing of interests and with a nice cup of tea.
